Iacopo Passeri obtained his master’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology at Sapienza University, Rome. During his MSc traineeship and thesis, he focused on the ex-vivo muscular re-innervation process on murine model with both biological and engineering analysis for future regenerative medicine applications. During his bachelor’s degree the passion for informatics has grown from mechatronics applications to computational biology. He's actually involved in genome methylation and transcriptome analysis at the Biology department at the University of Florence where he is currently developing computational pipelines for the analysis of such data.
